Brown stew chicken, sweet potato, corn and Mac and cheese and cabbage were really good. The jerk chicken is spicy but way too salty which low key messed up the rice and beans but the portions are good and I’d recommend this place.

Their food is really good! I am picky about Jamaican food and have been trying to find a new place since my old favorite closed last year. I'm glad to finally have gotten around to trying Mr. Jerk and I wish I would have done it sooner. I ordered the curry chicken, jerk chicken, yams, and mac and cheese, and was really happy with everything. The curry chicken was well-seasoned and the jerk chicken had the perfect amount of spice. The meat on both was tender and moist, cooked perfectly, with flavor all the way down to the bone. Rice and peas and cabbage were seasoned in their own right, not bland, and the texture was just right, not too soft or too hard. Mac and cheese was tasty, pretty textbook macaroni pie. But the secret ingredient to the plate had to be the yams lol. By themselves, they were just this side of too sweet for me, but when I mixed them with the other savory dishes, that hit of sweetness just amplified the whole plate and brought it together. Especially with the jerk chicken, because it had the heat to play against. And I also really liked it with the macaroni pie. Those yams have been living rent free in my head lol. I'll just be eating something and I'm like dang, you know what would really set this off? Mr. Jerk's yams lmao. I got everything in large and was happy with the portions and the pricing. I ordered through UberEats, and my order was completed perfectly, including the notes I left. I really appreciated the attention to detail and service provided, because those things make a big difference. Oh I almost forgot! I tried the cake too, the pound cake. Yall gotta get you some of that, it was good as hell. Very dense, but not heavy and not too sweet. I could have done with a bit of lemon to it, but it was a really good cake. Very satisfying end to the meal. Overall, I had a really positive experience with Mr. Jerk and will definitely keep them as my go-to spot when I'm feeling for Jamaican. Give them a try, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

I had Mr.Jerk for the first time, the other Day ordered from Uber eats. The Food was fresh and the portions were large!! I was not a fan of the Oxtail as there were too Fatty and had a sweetness to them. The cabbage was pretty bland, but fresh. The rice and peas were Good. The Macaroni and cheese was sooo good, BEST Mac I had from any Jamaican store I ate from. FOURS STARS for the freshness, portions, and of course the Mac! Next time I’ll try the curry!

This place was a 10/10!! I ordered on the run, a quick lunch platter. Called in an order for a medium jerk chicken, mac and cheese, and yams. My food was ready in about 15 minutes, which was exactly what I was hoping for. The store was pretty small, but it was clean and welcoming! The guy behind the counter was nice, and he was quick with grabbing my order. They do accept credit cards. The platter was surprisingly heavy!! For $13, I was already happy with what I got! I had to stop at a few places before making it home to eat, so when I did get home, I had to reheat the food. I have to say, EVERYTHING WAS still DELICIOUS!! The chicken was flavored perfectly! It was so spicy that sweat was dripping down my back, and that's how I like my jerk chicken! Mac was cheesy and flavorful! And the YAMS! OMG, THE YAMS! I got full after eating about half the platter, but it was so good that I couldn't stop eating. However, I couldn't finish it all, so I saved some for my husband to try! We both have decided that when we go to PA, this will be the new spot for Jamaican food! Mr. Jerk PUT IN THAT WORK!

This is now my goto whenever I want some good Caribbean food/soul food. The food is great the portions are much larger than I expected. If u can’t take spicy food then dont get the jerk chicken tho bc I did n omg talk about spicy ! but I LOVE their food. They definitely won me over with the mac n cheese and cabbage amongst everything else. I have no complaints

I ordered from here from Grubhub today. I was skeptical that a pick up on place would have a plate worth $18 but I was wrong. Let me tell you about this food: I ordered the pepper steak with white rice and Mac and cheese. The pepper steak is perfect. The rice was cooked superiorly well. The Mac and cheese is good for a basic one with cheese and no spices. I put in my order and it was ready in about 2 minutes for pick up so it’s convenient and fast. It’s a lot of food and good to share with 2-3 people.
